Every year thousands of travellers choose to join teaching volunteer programs with IVHQ. Here’s why:
International Volunteer HQ offers the world’s most affordable teaching volunteer opportunities in over 50 different destinations, including Costa Rica, Guatemala, Fiji, Tanzania, South Africa, Italy, Cambodia and Bali.
With over 17 years of experience in hosting international volunteers, IVHQ has grown to become the world’s leading volunteer travel organisation, offering a variety of opportunities for volunteers wanting to teach overseas.
Whether you’re qualified or a first-time teacher, IVHQ provides affordable teaching opportunities for varying levels of experience, and you can choose to volunteer for periods ranging from 1 week to 6 months.
With volunteer program fees starting from AU$32 per day including accommodation, you will not find a more affordable and trustworthy volunteer travel organisation. But don’t just take our word for it, here are some recent reviews from our teaching volunteers.
The children were all so loving and excited to meet new people. They are always laughing and having fun! The local teaching coordinator was always there to help with lesson plans and was happy to answer any questions we had (and even sat in the classroom with us if we were nervous!) I only spent 2 weeks in Fiji but it feels like I was there for months. The love I felt in Fiji has made me a better person and I can’t wait to join my second family again in the near future. Melissa Lamb (Volunteer in Fiji)
I learnt so much about the importance of education, the beauty of this rich culture, and the differences between developed or developing countries. I saw so many things that took me out of my comfort zone and sometimes shocked me, but I also had so many positive experiences with the children and people of India that filled my heart with joy! Getting to know the kids made this one of the best experiences of my life and seeing their eagerness to learn really inspired me to continue to help others get the education they deserve.
