About Jessica Chadwick volunteering with IVHQ.

About Jess Chadwick

Hi there! I’m Jess Chadwick, and I believe in traveling with a purpose. Come and join me as I travel and volunteer across southern Africa, making a difference in communities that need help.

In 2009, my sister, Georgina, decided to go on a volunteering trip with IVHQ in Kenya. She joined the Childcare program for 13 weeks. When she came home, she talked about all the great things she’d experienced during her trip to Kenya. This sparked a light in me and pushed me to do the same.

Since then, I’ve volunteered with IVHQ in Ghana and Tanzania, immersing myself in fantastic local initiatives supporting care for disadvantaged children. I had such a great time!

In April 2024 I will be volunteering again with IVHQ in Zambia and then I’m heading back to Ghana in September 2024. Places to join me in those destinations are already full – but you can still join me in South Africa and Tanzania in October and November 2024.

Want to be a part of the change? Register to join me in South Africa and Tanzania, and we can make a difference together!

Volunteer from Jess' Zambia group

“Being part of this trip has been rewarding and memorable. It has been an incredible experience teaching the most amazing children, yet very touching witnessing the daily challenges they face. I am a strong believer that small actions that come from the heart have a great impact, and seeing the smiles on so many little faces made my time with them priceless.

Travelling as a group has enabled me to meet new people and form lifelong friendships. From the moment I considered joining the trip Jess has been so supportive helping me to prepare to travel, arranging wonderful extracurricular activities and ensuring everyone has a great experience. Her radiant personality definitely confirms that I could not have chosen a better host.”
