Embark on an unforgettable tour in Tanzania that takes you through a diverse array of natural and cultural attractions. Begin your journey with a visit to the stunning Materuni Waterfalls, nestled in the lush green hills near Moshi. Here, you'll enjoy a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters and take in the breathtaking scenery. Next, head to the serene Chemka Hot Springs, where you can relax in the warm, turquoise waters surrounded by verdant vegetation. The pond is very deep, reaching depths of up to 10 meters in some areas, yet the water is so clear you can easily see the bottom.
The tour continues with a visit to a local coffee plantation, where you'll learn about the process of coffee production from bean to cup. Enjoy the rich flavors of freshly brewed coffee and gain insights into the daily lives of the farmers. Lastly, explore the historic Chagga Caves, which offer a fascinating glimpse into the history and culture of the Chagga people. These caves were once used as hiding spots during tribal wars and are now a testament to the resilience and ingenuity of the Chagga community.
This tour promises a rich blend of natural beauty, relaxation, and cultural immersion, providing a memorable experience in the heart of Tanzania.

Volunteers on the Maasai Immersion project:
The Maasai Immersion project is located about 2 hours away from Arusha. Due to the remoteness of the project, volunteers who wish to go back to Arusha and take part on tours over the weekends, will need to arrange transportation with the local team directly at an extra cost of US$70 per vehicle, for up to 4 passengers. Please note that this doesn't apply to safaris, as the local team can pick up volunteers from the Maasai village on the way out to the wildlife parks and reserves.
