Early morning, departing from the volunteer house, after an hour drive you will arrive to Kazungula for a border stop where you shall do your passport formalities for both Zambian (if applicable) and Botswana. After short briefing about the activity, the guide on the Botswana side will decide either to start with a game drive, lunch then river safari cruise or the other way round.

This is an incredible opportunity to see wildlife in the park besides elephants, such as African painted dog, blue wildebeest, cape buffalo, civet, crocodile, giraffe, hippo, hyena, leopard, lion, puku (a type of antelope), savanna elephant, tsessebe, zebra, and much more.

To take part on this tour, some nationalities may be required to have a tourist visa to enter Botswana. For more information on visa and visa processes, please contact your nearest Botswana embassy or check the Botswana website. To be able to re-enter Zambia at the end of the tour, a Double or Multiple Entry Visa is recommended rather than a Single Entry Visa, depending on how many time you intend to re-enter the country.

The Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park encompasses the Victoria Falls in Zambia Livingstone and stretches some 12 kilometers along the riverbanks of the upper Zambezi River. White rhino, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, giraffe, zebra and several antelope species flourish here. Elephant also often visit the park. This tour sets off in the morning and afternoon and lasts about 3 hours.

Livingstone Island - Devil's Pool or Angel's Pool - Afternoon
Enjoy an afternoon tour to the Devil's Pool, a deep natural pool that has been created by thousands of years of erosion. Its unique feature is is a rock ledge on the lip on the falls where the water is only a few centimeters deep. This natural barrier is what allow you to jump into the deep pool but not get swept over the edge.

Alternatively, you will visit the Angel's Pool when the water levels in the Devil's Pool are too high. The Devil's Pool is usually closed between mid August through mid February - depending on Zambezi water levels.

It's important to note that volunteers need to arrange their own transport from the volunteer house and back and should budget approximately US$10 per person, for return transfer.

The Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park encompasses the Victoria Falls in Zambia Livingstone and stretches some 12 kilometers along the riverbanks of the upper Zambezi River. White rhino, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, giraffe, zebra and several antelope species flourish here. Elephant also often visit the park. This tour sets off in the morning and afternoon and lasts about 3 hours.

To take part on this tour, some nationalities may be required to have a tourist visa to enter Botswana. For more information on visa and visa processes, please contact your nearest Botswana embassy or check the Botswana website. To be able to re-enter Zambia at the end of the tour, a Double or Multiple Entry Visa is recommended rather than a Single Entry Visa, depending on how many time you intend to re-enter the country.

Enjoy an afternoon tour to the Devil's Pool, a deep natural pool that has been created by thousands of years of erosion. Its unique feature is is a rock ledge on the lip on the falls where the water is only a few centimeters deep. This natural barrier is what allow you to jump into the deep pool but not get swept over the edge.

Alternatively, you will visit the Angel's Pool when the water levels in the Devil's Pool are too high. The Devil's Pool is usually closed between mid August through mid February - depending on Zambezi water levels.

It's important to note that volunteers need to arrange their own transport from the volunteer house and back and should budget approximately US$10 per person, for return transfer.
